Every person making a bracelet often asks themselves, how long should it be? How will I know if it fits me?

I was self taught, and I learned the following basic principle:

To ensure sure it reaches around you or your friends’ wrist, it is suggested that you may either:

  1. Wrap the thread around your wrists two times OR
  2. Measure thread from your elbow to your finger tips.

Make sure that all of the threads you use are the same length.

In my experience, I usually make the length of the string longer, the last thing you need to do is find out once you have finished your bracelet, the bracelet is too short. For a standard bracelet I usually measure 60 cm then fold it in half.

I will demonstrate this in a later video, so keep tuned!
